"When you're in the supply and install business, you're only as good as your last project," is a simple, yet poingnant statement by Mike Rossi, president of American Home Pro, Inc., which sums up his company's business ethic. Rossi has been in the exterior building supply business for 35 years, and his knowledge of the industry is evident from the moment he begins to speak. He opened his own business, United Applicators, Inc., in 1975 to sell exterior building products to builders and contractors in northeast Ohio. In 2004, he decided to take his business directly to the homeowners and opened American Home Pro as a direct-to-consumer operation.
American Home Pro has a staff of 10 and has about 15 siding crews that service seven counties in Ohio. Rossi says his company prides itself on performing the best quality worksmanship with the products that are right for the job.
To best serve the company's customers, American Home Pro switched to Variform by Ply Gem siding about a year ago and today uses Variform products nearly exclusively. Rossi says Variform siding helps him build his business by allowing him to offer the profiles and textures that his customers want in a wide array of colors and various price points.
"When you exceed your customers' expectations with the products you use and the service you provide, you offer a better long-term investment to them" said Rossi. "And when your customers are satisfied, they provide excellent referrals for your business."
